The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives you the right to access information held by the Trust. This can be factual datasets, how our services are run, how much they cost, our targets and results.
Making a request
Anyone can submit a request for information recorded and held by us, and by law we are obliged to respond to the requests within 20 working days unless we deem the request to be complex or extensive and therefore we may need an extension, we will contact you if this is the case.
When making a request, please ensure:
- To provide a name, and contact details.
- Make your request is as clear as possible, providing as much detail as you can to enable us to understand and identify the information you are looking for and to respond promptly and accordingly.
- Tell us your preferred format for receiving information – electronic or hardcopy.

Complaint and Appeals
If you are dissatisfied with how your request has been handled or would like to formally appeal against the Trust’s response to your FOI request, you may;
- Send us a complaint about how we have dealt with your request.
- Ask us to carry out an internal review of our decision about what information has been released, or because we are not complying with the publication scheme.
If, after we have addressed your complaint, you remain dissatisfied with how we have responded, you are entitled to appeal to the Information Commissioner Office. You can contact the Information Commissioner's Office via the below contact details;
